Growth stage creator economy platform that empowers content creators to earn more from their fans. Funded by Harvard i-Labs and top venture capital firms.

My Role: I served as our research lead on this project, guiding our literature review and our wizard of Oz study. I also helped facilitate our work by analyzing our research results into actionable insights. In addition to that, I designed the user experience for our AI adaptive learning feature.

Success: As head of Data & Growth at MintStars I’ve owned all of our technical projects to drive acquisition and retention on the platform. In a span of 6 months we were able to 12x our creator base and within 1 year we went from $0 to $1M YRR.

As of January 2025, the company has 100k monthly active users.

Weekly Data Reports & Insights

I designed a comprehensive analytics framework tracking 12 key performance indicators across 5 user segments. The reports revealed a critical insight: creators who engaged with at least 3 platform features within the first 30 days had a 65% higher 6-month retention rate. By implementing targeted interventions based on these insights, we improved overall user retention from 38% to 52% over a 6-month period.

Direct Outreach Lead Generation

By developing a targeted Python-based AI outreach pipeline using Drippi, I increased platform sign-ups from 50 to 700 monthly, representing a 14x growth. The strategy involved creating 3 distinct outreach segments, with personalized messaging that achieved a 22% response rate and converted 8.5% of initial contacts into active platform creators.

Embeddings Model for Platform Search

I developed an embeddings model using a corpus of 50,000 creator profiles and content pieces, achieving a 73% improvement in search relevance. The model reduced irrelevant search results by 60% and increased content discovery interactions by 45%. By implementing semantic search capabilities, creators saw a 35% increase in cross-content engagement, directly contributing to platform stickiness and user retention.
