I'm Amina Green. I previously worked as an idol in Japan under the name aminyan or Amina du Jean. I'm currently a content creator and technologist living in San Francisco, California.
Before that, I worked as head of data at a venture-backed creator economy startup and in human-computer interaction research.
I have undergraduate education in both Tokyo and London, UK, with graduate studies in California in Computer Science/Human Computer Interaction, focused on biosensing wearables.
As of Fall 2026, I'm a Frame Fellow, embedded at Machine Alignment, Transparency, and Security (MATS) leading AI safety content production.
As an undergraduate student and throughout my early 20s, I dedicated my academic studies, dissertation and work to the labor rights of migrant women, particularly from Eastern Europe and the Global South.
As a student I served on the board of TAMPEP EU, which allowed me to speak at Amnesty International in London in 2018 and attend a European Union special parliamentary meeting. I also participated in a protest in Stockholm, Sweden in 2019.
From 2022 onwards I began to work in industry and for tech non-profits. I still care deeply about these causes, but I don't directly work for any of them any more.
At the moment I care about building communities, strong interpersonal relationships and empowering others to do the same. I've recently begun a project called kanpai where community stewards can be connected with corporate sponsors and individual patrons. Join the waitlist @ kanpai.events
